SaLux is a project initiated in the early phases of the Covid-19 pandemic at the Max-Planck- Institute of Experimental Medicine (now Max-Planck-Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences).
The Max Planck Foundation is the private, independent, non-profit organization of private supporters of top research in the Max Planck Society. Thanks to dedicated donors, it makes possible innovative and trendsetting research in sciences and the humanities at Max Planck Institutes. The focused support by the Max Planck Foundation enabled breakthroughs in research and, among other things, the work of Nobel Laureates in Germany.
