The Start-up Journey of the MAXpreneurs Initiative consists of the phases: Science, Ideation, Pre-Founding and Start-up & Scale-up. In the early science phase of a potential start-up, we would like to introduce you as a scientist to the world of entrepreneurship.

Are you looking for an inspiring and motivating keynote speech or a Start-up interview for your institute event?
Do researchers in your working group or institute have a scientific finding and would like to evaluate its transfer potential?

From Ideas to Impact

Initiating change can be challenging: Where to start, how to proceed, what really matters? The workshop From Ideas to Impact offers a structured basis for consciously shaping change processes, developing your own mindset, and taking the first steps toward effective innovation.

Structure for change: Methods, tools, and guidance for the path from idea to effective innovation.
Mindset & impact: Developing an understanding of innovation and leadership with a focus on social and user-oriented added value.
Science & design thinking: Combining the scientific method with the design thinking process for the systematic development of impact.
Impulses & practice: Inspiring introduction to the “magic of the number 108” (Fibonacci sequence) and real-life examples from technology transfer.
Interactive format: Active exchange, joint reflection, and learning from each other are at the center of attention.

Science Next Level

With the Science Next Level workshops, we support you in developing your scientific work in an impact-oriented manner and opening up new transfer and start-up perspectives.

New perspectives: Develop a broader understanding of your research in the context of society, business, and potential spin-offs.
Social added value: Discover how your research can benefit different stakeholders.

The MPF can cover 50% of the travel expenses for the event, provided that you are employed by the Max-Planck Society and a valid business trip application excluding 50% of the travel expenses is submitted until April 5th.
